Anna Salapatas, DMD, Chicago Dentist
Dr. Anna Salapatas, originally from the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Biostatistics. She completed the combined dual degree, Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Doctorate of Philosophy in Oral Sciences (DMD-PhD), program at the UIC College of Dentistry. It was there where she was awarded the prestigious Fellowship Grant through the National Institutes of Health with research focused on wound healing and tissue regeneration. Throughout her academic career she has contributed significantly to both clinical and laboratory-based scientific research. Dr. Salapatas’ work has been published in top journals within her field and she has presented her research at numerous domestic and international conferences.
Additionally, Dr. Salapatas serves as a part-time instructor at the UIC College of Dentistry, where she continues her research endeavors.

My husband, Yannis, and our two toddlers continue to live in the Lakeview neighborhood. When I’m not working, we enjoy trying new restaurants, cooking, and spending time with family and friends."
